Bãi Sau (Back Beach)

Bãi Trước  (Front Beach)

Front Beach, also known as Tam Duong Beach, is a semicircular bay, located between Big Mountain and Small Mountain, extending from the beginning of Tran Phu Street to the end of Quang Trung Street and to a section of Ha Long Street.

The statue of Christ of Vung Tau is also known by many other names such as the statue of Christ with outstretched arms, the statue of Christ of Small Mountain, and the statue of Christ the King. This is a statue of Jesus located on Small Mountain, a famous tourist destination and one of the symbols of the coastal city of Vung Tau.

The statue of Christ on Small Mountain was built from 1974 to 1994. The statue is 32m high, the arms are 18.4m long. The statue is placed on a unique 10m-high bow-shaped pedestal, in front is a bas-relief “The Last Supper”, and behind is a painting “God gave the key to Peter”.

From the foot of Small Mountain, visitors have to pass 1,000 steps to reach the foot of God. Inside the statue is a small spiral staircase with 133 steps leading up to the shoulder of the Lord. There is a small balcony, accommodating about 3-5 people, where visitors can see Vung Tau city from above.

 

Lighthouse

The white lighthouse is located among the typical porcelain flowers of Vung Tau.

On Small Mountain, there is an equally famous Vung Tau tourist destination, which is Vung Tau lighthouse. Like most lighthouses, this building is painted white, 18m high.

Vung Tau Lighthouse is one of the oldest lighthouses in Vietnam, built by the French in 1862, located at an altitude of 143m above sea level. In 1913, the lighthouse was moved to a height of 170m.

To get here, you go to Bai Truoc park, go to Ha Long beach, turn right, and continue on the road along the mountainside. This road has very beautiful scenery, one side of the road looks down to Vung Tau city with green trees.

While moving, you will see that there is a road that is a stone wall adorned with a few branches of confetti. This is also a popular check-in place for young people and tourists. Every afternoon, the path leading to the lighthouse is chosen by many Vung Tau people to walk and exercise.

 

Nghinh Phong Cape

Green Rock Lake

Also located on the way from Vung Tau to Saigon, about 15km from Vung Tau, Da Xanh lake is known as a unique check-in place without having to go far.

Da Xanh Lake is a lake located between rocky mountains. Once a quarry area, the chemicals from the mining make the lake a unique emerald color, and the color of the water is even more prominent among the only gray and brown rocks with a few small green trees.

Currently, Da Xanh lake charges from 20,000 to 150,000 VND for guests to take photos depending on the purpose of shooting. You can take photos at the wooden bridge leading to the lake, the wooden swing, and the green lawn, or take pictures with the small sheep raised here.
