- Once all bookings have been completed, the final travel plan will be emailed to you, at which point you will need to make a deposit payment of 30% of the entire trip cost, which is non-refundable.
- You must submit your passport information between 7 – 15 working days for flight booking and other registration.
- Payments can be made by credit card or bank transfer. There will be a 3% processing fee on the total amount paid by credit card.

Day 1. Arrival in Ha Noi
Welcome to the thousand-year old capital of Vietnam! On your arrival at Hanoi airport, you will meet your tour guide and travel to your hotel in the city center. Relax and explore Hanoi on your own.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2. Ha Noi (Breakfast/Lunch)
Today you will explore the charming capital city of Hanoi visiting significant sites including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh’s traditional stilt house, Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam.
In the afternoon, you will visit Ethnology Museum (close on Monday) which offers an insight into the 54 different ethnic groups of Vietnam. After that, continue with a walk to the Old Quarter, named after the original 36 artisan guilds that date back to the 13th century, then stroll around the Hoan Kiem Lake area. Finish the day with a traditional Water Puppet show, an art form which was invented a thousand years ago by the farmers of the Red River Delta area , that depicts scenes from the country’s history.

Day 3. Ha Noi – Mai Chau (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
In the morning, you will depart from Hanoi to Mai Chau, passing along mountains, fertile valleys, and traditional villages. Upon arrival in the picturesque Mai Chau Valley surrounded by spectacular karst rock formations and rice paddies, check-in the hotel and have lunch. After lunch, spend the afternoon exploring the idyllic natural surroundings or hop on a bike to discover the tranquil valley.

Day 4. Mai Chau – Ninh Binh (Breakfast/Lunch)
After breakfast, you will be driven from Mai Chau to Ninh Binh province, one of the most beautiful parts of Vietnam with its dramatic scenery and historical temples. The rice fields here are beautiful and the mountains have earned the area the nickname ‘Dry Halong Bay’, a moniker borne out by the limestone karsts which dominate the landscape.
Lunch at a local restaurant before visiting the Hoa Lu Citadel and the ancient temples dedicated to Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang (Dinh Dynasty, 968–80) and Emperor Le Dai Hanh (Le Dynasty, 980–1009).
In the afternoon, take a pleasant bike ride on the dam levee to Van Long Nature Reserve, then step aboard a small rowboat for a slow journey to view a stunning sunset here.
Transfer to hotel for check-in and overnight.
Day 5. Ninh Binh – Ha Long (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
After breakfast, leave Ninh Binh for an overnight boat trip on Halong Bay. Arrive in Halong City late in the morning and hop aboard your boat and begin your join-in overnight Halong Bay cruise.
After sailing along the idyllic rock formations, end the day by setting anchor in the middle of the Bay. As the sun sets over the water, dinner is served on board, consisting of fresh seafood, salads, and fruits.

Day 6. Ha Long – Ha Noi (Breakfast)
Enjoy a fresh morning on the bay. Breakfast is served while the boat cruises slowly through the magnificent rock formations and back towards port. Disembark and transfer back to Hanoi.
End of all services.
