The Au Co Cruise lending a beautiful contemporary feel to the ancient Vietnamese legend on which the ships are inspired. Updated cabins feature a modern Asian flair, subtly incorporating design elements telling the love story of Princess Au Co and her Dragon Lord of the Sea.

Notes:

  • Operating conditions vary from day to day which might require passengers transferring to a speedboat to return to the harbor on certain days. Bhaya Cruises will inform the passengers as soon as possible if using a speedboat is required for check-out.
  • Inclement weather, tide levels, and operating conditions at sea may force changes in the cruise itinerary and schedule at any time. Kayaking and swimming excursion, in particular, may be canceled or relocated to another area due to rough weather.
  • The cruise offers fusion cuisine: international, seafood, and Vietnamese. Please advise Bhaya Cruises at least one (01) week before departure about any specific food preference, dietary, or food allergies.
  • Port authority insists on advance registration including full name, gender, date of birth, nationality, and passport number. At check-in, a valid passport is required. Port authorities may deny boarding if these conditions are not met.
  • Free Wifi available on the terrace deck, but note that the internet signal at sea suffers frequent interruption.
  • Join us in protecting the environment and saying NO to plastic waste. Bhaya Cruises offers free filtered water in the restaurant area, where guests can refill their personal water bottles during the journey. Amenity kits (toothbrushes and cotton swabs) are available in the reception area. We encourage passengers to prepare their own personal belongings when traveling.

Day 1: Viet Hai Village

Arrive at Bhaya Cruise Center at 11:45 a.m. 

Depart at 12:30 a.m. to board The Au Co and visit the cabin before heading to the Halong Restaurant for a safety briefing as well as to meet the Cruise Manager and the crew while enjoying a fresh welcome drink.

After fusion lunch, explore the little Viet Hai village located in the middle of Cat Ba National Park. Learn about Bhaya Cruises’ “Viet Hai Community Farm” and “Save the Langurs” social responsibility projects. Enjoy a swim in the signature jade-colored water of Halong Bay at one of the lagoons near Viet Hai pier. 

Try your hand to create authentic Vietnamese dishes and observe the fruit carving demonstration by our chefs. Don’t forget to check out the magical HaLong sunset scene serving as background.

Enjoy an assortment of drinks during “Happy Hour” while admiring the stunning view of HaLong Bay.

At the end of the day, enjoy set-menu dinner with delicious Vietnamese dishes and participate in free activities on the cruise.

Day 2: Trinh Nu Area, Cua Van Floating Village

Start a new day with Tai Chi exercises. These exercises help keep the body healthy and have been recognized by the UNESCO Heritage Site as the most relaxing experience passengers can have.

After breakfast, reach the Trinh Nu Area, which includes Trinh Nu Cave, which is the finest sunlight-filled cave in Halong Bay, and a stunning private beach surrounded by Halong Bay’s crystal water. This is where visitors will have a chance to unwind in a quieter neighborhood and be in touch with raw nature.

Visit Trinh Nu Cave, one of the most beautiful sunlight-filled caverns in Halong Bay, covering an area of 2,000m2 and featuring a gorgeous array of stalactites and stalagmites.

Participate in kayaking around Trinh Nu Cave in the jade-colored water or sunbathing on a private beach nestled behind the Trinh Nu area.

Take a bridge tour by the Captain and an engine room tour by the Chief Mechanic to discover more about The Au Co cruise.

Enjoy a lunch in Halong Restaurant as the ship leisurely cruises past beautiful karst towers.

After lunch, explore Cua Van Floating Village by kayaking or using a traditional rowing boat. Take the chance to experience moments in the life of the local fishermen who were born on the emerald-colored sea.

Return to The Au Co for some time at leisure to relax or try the Jacuzzi onboard. Then the ship returns to place anchors for the night.

Lan Ha bar opens again for Happy Hour promotion on a selection of drinks with complimentary snacks. Enjoy the sunset falling over the horizon. 

At the end of the day, enjoy dinner with delicious Vietnamese dishes and participate in free activities on the cruise.

Day 3: Sung Sot Cave

Start a new day with Tai Chi exercises. These exercises help keep the body healthy and have been recognized by the UNESCO Heritage Site as the most relaxing experience passengers can have.

Enjoy a light breakfast, then visit Sung Sot cave – the largest cave of the Bay with 10,000 square meters of space holding thousands of stalactites and stalagmites in fascinating shapes and sizes.

Enjoy the brunch served in the restaurant while the boat cruises back to the port.

Check out at 10:30 a.m. and disembark from the boat at Tuan Chau International Marina.
