Visit Hoa Lu – ancient captial in Ninh Binh where spent more than one thousand years ago and visit temples of Dinh King & Le King. Spend your time on a little sampan along a peaceful stream in Tam Coc and walk around Thai Vi temple. Visit Bich Dong pagoda in the end of the journey.
This morning, enjoy a 1-hour 45-minute drive to Ninh Binh province – Trang An Landscape Complex recognized as the World Heritage Site. It is a spectacular landscape of limestone karst peaks permeated with valleys, some of which are submerged, and surrounded by vertical cliffs.
Arrive at Hoa Lu – the former capital of Vietnam more than one thousand years ago in the early noon, pay a visit the ancient temples of Ding King & Le King have become time worn, the natural beauty of this area and some precious antiques still remain.
Have lunch in a rustic restaurant in town.
Nearby, Tam Coc is referred to as “Halong Bay on land” due to its dramatic limestone karst scenery punctuating the lush rice paddies.
In the afternoon, rowed in a little sampan along a peaceful stream while having time to admire views of majestic limestone cliffs, mysterious caves and immense rice fields.
Then return by road to Hanoi late afternoon.
