Tam Coc – Bich Dong tourist area is an equally famous stopover with a system of limestone caves and historical sites of the Tran dynasty. Tam Coc – Bich Dong tourist area has a natural area of ​​350.3 ha, belonging to Ninh Hai commune, Hoa Lu.

 

 

Tam Coc means “Three caves” with a chain of 3 caves including Ca cave, Hai cave and Ba cave, created by the Ngo Dong river crashing through the mountain. Ca Cave is 127m long with a cave entrance over 20m wide, through a large mountain. When visiting, you will feel the cool air and there are many stalactites hanging down with various shapes. Nearly 1km from Ca cave is Hai cave with a length of 60m which also has unique limestone shapes. Hang Ba has a length of 50m, near Hang Hai, with a lower height than the other two caves, like a giant stone arch.

Bich Dong, known as “Nam Thien De Nhi Dong” (the second most beautiful cave in the South), is located 2km from Tam Coc. Bich Dong, also means “green cave”, consists of a dry cave located halfway up the mountain – where Bich Dong pagoda is located, and a water cave piercing through the mountain called Xuyen Thuy Dong.

 

Hoa Lu ancient capital

Located in the core of 4 attractions of Trang An World Heritage complex, Hoa Lu Ancient Capital – Ninh Binh is a complex of historical – architectural relics, including 3 main areas: special protection area. In particular, the buffer zone and other monuments are of great significance.

As a temple complex located on Bai Dinh mountain with an area of ​​​​539 hectares including 80 hectares, Bai Dinh pagoda is divided into two areas: the new pagoda area and the old pagoda area. Bai Dinh is a spiritual complex with the most massive and unique architecture in Vietnam. The roof of the majestic main temple is designed with 3 floors and 12 curved roofs in the shape of a knife head, roofed with tiles in the shape of a traditional comedy nose. The pagoda is also designed with steps decorated with stone dragons of the Ly Dynasty, and a large stone yard overlooking the Jade Well.

 

 

When visiting Bai Dinh Pagoda, you will have the opportunity to admire many outstanding relics and spiritual sites with many thrilling legends. You will visit Bright Cave where worship Gods and Buddhas; and Dark Cave – where the statues of mothers and fairies are located deep in the cave, covered with magical stalactites.

Hang Múa (Dance Cave)

About a 15-minute drive from Trang An, Hang Mua tourist area is located right at the foot of the mountain. This place is a place where tourists often check in when visiting Ninh Binh. To reach the top of Hang Mua, visitors will have to climb through about 500 stone steps, it is quite hot, so be sure to bring water. From the top of Hang Mua, you will enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of Ninh Binh with winding rivers, rice fields and majestic mountains.
