Explore the ancient and poetic town of Sapa and then relax in a traditional herbal bath of the Red Dao people. Opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking scenery of Hoang Lien mountain range during the journey to explore the remote North. Visit some local houses to admire some handicraft workshops. Admire the beautiful rice terraces while participating in a full-day trekking tour.

Day 1. Hanoi – Sapa (Lunch)
In the morning, travel from Hanoi to Sapa by highway with a 5-hour drive. On arrival at noon, have lunch at a local restaurant.
Walk from Sapa toward Muong Hoa Valley, one of the most popular and attractive destinations in Sapa, especially for tourists who are looking for adventure. Coming here, tourists will be fascinated by the charming beauty of this valley, which is also home to many ethnic minorities and many wonderful natural beauties. Trek across a suspension bridge towards the villages of Zay and Giang Ta Chai, visiting the home of the Red Dzao minority group.
Afterward, return to Sapa Town and free time at leisure to discover the town or enjoy a Red Dzao traditional herbal bath.
Day 2. Sapa – Ban Khoang – Ta Giang Phinh (Breakfast/Lunch)
This morning, departed for Ban Khoang Valley. Along the way enjoy the breathtaking view of Hoang Lien Mountain Range, also known as The Tonkinese Alps. On arrival at Ban Khoang village, take some great pictures of the impressive and beautiful landscape before starting an easy walk to visit a village of the Red Dzao ethnic whose women are very skilled in making their own embroidery.
Depart from Ban Khoang Valley for Ta Giang Phinh Valley. Walk on the village path which winds down the impressive valley, home to Blue Hmong ethnic minority people. Visit some local houses to see some handicrafts workshops, observe villagers working in the fields tending their crops with buffaloes.
Head back to Sapa town and spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 3. Sapa – Bac Ha – Hoang Su Phi (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
This morning, depart from Sapa to Bac Ha market, one of the most colorful mountainous markets of northern Vietnam. Bac Ha market is often held every Sunday from morning till 2:00 pm, near the mountainous highlands and the Chinese border. The market has come to existence since the foundation of Lao Cai Province. From then on, the market only opens once a week on Sunday.
Visit the nearby Ban Pho village inhabited by Flower Hmong and Hoang A Tuong mansion which used to be the most powerful house in the Northwest region. Ban Pho still retains the primary of highland villages. From a distance, the village looks like a lively picture.
After lunch, drive toward Hoang Su Phi. Arrive at Ban Phung village – a masterpiece of nature and spend 2 hours walking through the community of La Chi people which offers an amazing view of the terrace field.
Overnight in Ban Phung homestay.
Day 4. Hoang Su Phi (Breakfast/Lunch)
This morning, leave for the Ban Luoc area. Ban Luoc is the biggest commune of rice terraced area in the region, the living place of the local ethnicities of Tay, Nung, and Dzao, who have long inhabited here and created the masterpiece of stepped rice fields to control water sources and make their living from those rice terraces. Captivate the most breathtaking landscapes of terraced rice fields and experience the authentic daily life of local ethnic people living in the region.
Get picked up by your car for a short transfer to Vinh Quang town where you will eat lunch at a local restaurant.
Continue to Nam Hong village where you can walk around to discover the daily life of Red Dzao people.
Overnight in Hoang Su Phi Lodge.
Day 5. Hoang Su Phi (Breakfast/Lunch)
Be ready for the whole day trekking to admire the amazing rice terraces in Nam Khoa commune. After breakfast, depart from Nam Hong to Khoa Thuong village, home of the Long Tunic Dzao ethnic. Continue trekking through rice terraces, forests, waterfalls and ethnic villages.
Lunch will be served at a local house. Return to your lodge in the late afternoon.
Day 6. Hoang Su Phi – Ha Noi (Breakfast)
After breakfast, check out and leave for a long drive back to Hanoi.
Lunch is on the way. Arrive in Hanoi in the late afternoon.
