Duong Lam Ancient Village & Tay Phuong Pagoda
Explore Duong Lam Ancient Village while you will learn more about a typical agricultural village in the north of the Red River Delta. Then, visit an ancient house and the 17th-century Tay Phuong pagoda for a glimpse into Vietnamese sculpture.

- Once all bookings have been completed, the final travel plan will be emailed to you, at which point you will need to make a deposit payment of 30% of the entire trip cost, which is non-refundable.
- You must submit your passport information between 7 – 15 working days for flight booking and other registration.
- Payments can be made by credit card or bank transfer. There will be a 3% processing fee on the total amount paid by credit card.

Visit the ancient village of Duong Lam, a typical agricultural village in the north of the Red River Delta with the cultural and historical vestiges of Duong Lam include Mong Phu Communal House, Mia Pagoda (built in the 15th century), and the Old Catholic church. Then, visit the Tay Phuong pagoda – a wonderful collection of Arhat statues featuring the fine art of Vietnamese sculpture circa 17th century on the way back to Hanoi.

In the morning, depart for a 1.5-hour drive to the ancient village of Duong Lam, a typical agricultural village in the north of the Red River Delta. Home to around 300 houses built three or four centuries ago, wander along Duong Lam’s narrow alleyways to explore rural life and Vietnam’s ancient architecture. The cultural and historical vestiges of Duong Lam include Mong Phu Communal House, Mia Pagoda (built in the 15th century), and the Old Catholic church. The village well – the traditional feature of communal life – is also worth a look. Before leaving the village, you will visit an ancient house owned by a couple where you can have a chat with the friendly owners and share their life experiences over a cup of tea. Then, we visit the Tay Phuong pagoda – a wonderful collection of Arhat statues featuring the fine art of Vietnamese sculpture circa 17th century on the way back to Hanoi.
