Day 1. Arrival in Luang Prabang
Upon arrival at the airport, our guide and driver will be waiting to provide transport to your hotel for check in. Relax and explore Luang Prabang on your own.

Day 2. Luang Prabang (Breakfast/Lunch)
After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of the enchanting World Heritage Town of Luang Prabang.
The tour starts at the former Royal Palace, now the National Museum, to learn about the history of Laos, continues on foot to Wat Mai, a temple renowned for its golden bas-relief and then visit Wat Xieng Thong, with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture. Continue to the Traditional Arts & Ethnology Centre (closed on Monday) to explore the rich diversity of Laos’ ethnic minorities.
In the afternoon, board a private longtail boat for the Mekong River cruise to the famous Pak Ou Caves. Locally called Tam Ting, the caves are filled with thousands of gold-lacquered Buddha statues, coming in a wide range of sizes. After visiting the caves, cruise back to Luang Prabang. Along the way back, make a stop at Ban Xang Hay, a village specialising in making rice wine.

Day 3. Luang Prabang (Breakfast/Lunch)
Wake up early in the morning to witness the Tak Bat ceremony, you will have the chance to witness the monks leaving their pagodas to receive offerings of food from Luang Prabang residents. It is a beautiful ceremony that highlights the spiritualism of the Lao people. Continue to visit the morning market before returning to the hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, visit Wat Visoun, the holiest temple of the city, followed by Wat Aham and Wat That, where the ashes of King Sisavang Vong are interred inside the large central stupa. Continue then with a drive through the Luang Prabang countryside to Kuang Si Waterfalls. Upon reaching Kuang Si Waterfall, enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings on foot. These waterfalls cascade down a multilevel limestone formation creating a series of turquoise blue pools perfect for swimming on a hot day (if swimming, please dress modestly).
On the route back, pay a visit to the Free the Bears sanctuary, housing 23 Asiatic Bears which were rescued from poaching.
Head back to the city in time to climb the 328 steps leading to the top of Mount Phousi. Upon reaching the peak, enjoy a beautiful sunset and panoramic views of the city below. After sunset, descend the steps and pay a visit to the nearby evening market, filled with beautiful hill tribe souvenirs and handicrafts.

Day 4. Luang Prabang – flight to Ha Noi (Breakfast/Dinner)
Enjoy breakfast and some free time at leisure until transport to the airport for your flight to Ha Noi.
Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for check-in. Later on, take a walk around Hanoi’s Old Quarter, also known as “the 36 streets”. Take a street food tasting tour with our guide through Hang Be Market and around gorgeous Hoan Kiem Lake to get an overview of Vietnamese cuisine.

Day 5. Ha Noi (Breakfast/Lunch)
Today you will explore the charming capital city of Hanoi visiting significant sites including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh’s traditional stilt house, Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam.
In the afternoon, you will visit Ethnology Museum (close on Monday) which offers an insight into the 54 different ethnic groups of Vietnam.
Finish the day with a traditional Water Puppet show, an art form which was invented a thousand years ago by the farmers of the Red River Delta area , that depicts scenes from the country’s history.
Head back to the hotel and enjoy the evening at your leisure.

Day 6. Ha Noi – Ha Long Bay (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
After breakfast, get into your private car for a three and a half hour drive to Halong Bay, a stunning UNESCO World Heritage site dotted with 1,600 limestone islands and islets towering from emerald water. Around noon, you will arrive to the jetty and board a beautiful boat for an overnight cruise on Halong Bay. In the afternoon enjoy various activities planned by the boat’s staff, or sit leisurely on the deck and enjoy the natural surroundings of limestone and sparkling water. Lunch and dinner will be served on board with an excellent menu of fresh seafood.
Overnight on the bay amongst the karst formations.
Day 7. Ha Long Bay – Ha Noi – flight to Siem Reap (B)
Wake up early to catch a stunning sunrise across the bay. Enjoy breakfast on board while the boat makes its way back to the pier. Arrive at the pier and meet your local guide to travel ahead to Noi Bai airport for a short flight to Da Nang.
Once you land a local guide will be there to pick you up and take you to the hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 8. Siem Reap (Breakfast/Lunch)
Start your day with a tour to the temples of the Small Circuit. The tour includes the impressive 12th century temple of Ta Prohm which is overgrown by gigantic jungle trees and vines, with many parts of the temple crumbling to the ground. This makes Ta Prohm one of the most picturesque and memorable of the Angkor temples.
Your visit will also include Preah Khan temple, Banteay Kdei, a Buddhist monastery from the late 12th Century, and Srah Srang, also known as the “pool of ablutions”. Later today, visit the ancient city of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII. Enter the city through the ancient South Gate, then continue to Bayon Temple in the exact center of the city. This 12th century masterpiece is well-known for its 52 towers with enigmatic faces looking out towards the provinces of the vast and great Khmer Empire. The nearby Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King are also must-visits as they are both known for their intricate relief carvings.

Day 9. Siem Reap (Breakfast/Lunch)
Wake up early in the morning and treat yourself to a stunning sunrise over Angkor Wat.
Once the sun is up, go inside to explore Angkor Wat temple, a World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology.
In the afternoon, visit the unique temple of Banteay Srei. The so-called “Citadel of the Women” was constructed in rose-colored sandstone and displays some of the finest examples of classical Khmer art. The unique charm of this temple lies in its compact size, remarkable state of preservation, and the excellence of its decorative carving.
Return to town and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 10. Siem Reap – Departure (Breakfast)
Today visit Beng Mealea, known as the ‘Pond of Lotus’ temple. The temple was hidden in a maze of the jungle for hundreds of years before being found and opened for visitors. After that, drive to the abandoned Koh Ker to explore the pyramid temple of Prasat Thom and some other beautiful temples covered by jungles. On the way back to Siem Reap, you will embark on a boat trip on the Tonlé Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in SouthEast Asia. Board a local boat and visit Kampong Khleang floating village where you will have the opportunity to learn about life on the lake.
Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
